What you will do

• Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle software from inception to production.
• Drive complex changes involving multiple components in a distributed system environment.
• Deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain product features, validating changes for high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with team members and guide product feature changes.
• Lead others through example, mentorship, and participate in hiring.

Requirements

• Location: Must be a resident of CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, or Washington DC.
• 4+ years of software development engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• English: B2 required for effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software development code editors (Visual Studio, Rider) and version control systems (Git, Perforce).
• Experience with database engines (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, Aerospike, Vertica, Redis).
• Experience building microservices, operating systems, cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka.
