What you will do

• Build and enhance backend services for machine identity and certificate lifecycle workflows
• Develop APIs and service components used across the platform
• Design, implement, and test scalable distributed systems with senior engineers
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across services, APIs, and system components
• Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and quality
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
• 0–3 years experience in software development (internships/co-ops count)
• Experience with backend language (Java, Python, Go, or similar)
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST services, or microservices
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and CS fundamentals
• Ability to debug issues and reason through system behavior

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud platforms or distributed systems
• Experience building projects, services, or APIs
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Interest in security, identity systems, or infrastructure
