Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement concise, modular, cohesive, frontend and backend services in a distributed system context.
• Ensure automated tests and test frameworks are highly effective in terms of software quality and integration/delivery speed.
• Judiciously leverage AI, ML, and vector databases in software development workflows and product feature development.
• Decompose/distill complex software components along appropriate boundaries.
• Extensively use all aspects of observability systems, including instrumentation, queries, dashboards, alerts, and distributed traces.
• Plan, lead, or manage projects when called upon to do so while remaining hands-on.

Requirements

• 6-15+ years of experience working in fullstack distributed systems.
• Proficient in one of and willing to work on all of C#, Node.js, Java, Typescript services.
• Experience with REACT (strongly preferred), Angular, or other SPA frontend development tech stacks.
• Experience with concurrency and/or asynchronous operations.
• Experience meeting secure coding standards and willing to participate in financial systems security practices.
• Ability to explain complex topics to managers, directors, and program/product managers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redux/Redux-Saga or Browser APIs.
• Knowledge/experience with Javascript V8 Engine.
• Moderate to deep experience with messaging systems like Azure Service Bus or Rabbit MQ.
• Experience with distributed systems design/adaptation, P2P systems, or JS immutable data structures.
• In-depth REST, WebSockets, gRPC, or GraphQL API experience.
• Experience with OCI container usage such as Docker, Podman, and/or AKS/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, and/or GCP, including IaC such as Terraform.
