TL;DR

Business Developer (Gamedev): Growing Envar Studio’s client base and strengthening long-term partnerships within the gaming industry with an accent on identifying new business opportunities and preparing high-quality pitches. Focus on relationship-building with structured, detail-oriented execution.

Location: Remote or Stockholm (Hybrid). Need to overlap at least 6 hours between 13:00 - 21:00 CET including a mandatory availability of 18:00 - 20:00 CET.

We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Developer to help grow Envar Studio’s client base and strengthen long-term partnerships within the gaming industry.

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new client opportunities through various outbound channels.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis, as well as prepare tailored game plan proposals.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships by understanding client needs and challenges.
  • Represent Envar at industry events, studio visits, and client meetings, both virtually and in person.
  • Prepare project estimates and pitches aligned with Envar’s cost structure and service offerings.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure timely, efficient, and well-documented handovers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Business Developer in the video game industry.
  • Good understanding of the art production pipeline for video games.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to professionally represent Envar’s brand and values.
  • Strong research, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to occasionally work off-hours and balance this with flex time.

Nice to have

  • Experience within the AA and/or AAA game market.
  • Previous experience attending or representing studios at game industry events.
  • Professional working proficiency in languages other than English.
  • A genuine passion for games and the game development industry.
