TL;DR

Senior Corporate Counsel: Negotiating complex SaaS and technology-related contracts and advising on data protection and compliance with an accent on identifying and resolving contractual and business risks. Focus on managing multiple negotiations, producing clear legal documentation, and balancing commercial priorities with long-term risk considerations.

Location: Hybrid, remote first in Boston or Pittsburgh, US. Expect one or two days in the office per week.

What you will do

• Negotiate complex SaaS and technology-related contracts.
• Advise on data protection and compliance.
• Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to commercial, product, customer success, and internal operations teams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for legal matters in your region (North America).
• Manage risk at scale while driving commercial results.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in Massachusetts or Pennsylvania.
• 5–7+ years’ legal experience, including time at a major U.S. law firm in a transactional practice.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial contracts.
• Experience working with B2B technology and information-related client contracts and procurement agreements.
• Ability to identify and resolve contractual and business risks (e.g., indemnities, liability limits, privacy, data protection, information security).
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend positions and guide agreements to closure.
