Senior Software Engineer, Product (AI)

Salary: $185,000–$275,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own major feature development and work directly with founders on product development from idea generation through shipping.
• Build kiosk software, customer-facing products, and infrastructure with a multidisciplinary hardware, software, and design team.
• Work across the full stack and contribute to multiple parts of the codebase using different programming languages.
• Design new architecture and rethink existing codebases to support scale.
• Continuously improve and maintain production software used by a large customer base.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant coding experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of one or more of Python, Node.js, C++, Go, C#, or Java.
• Ability to learn new languages, libraries, and frameworks as needed.
• Experience building production-ready software used regularly by many people.
• Availability to work on-site in Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping quality code quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, SQL, and database technologies.
