Head of Engineer, Product Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Set and communicate the technical vision and strategy for product engineering across user-facing platforms and features.
• Lead, mentor, and scale multiple engineering teams while developing a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Architect and oversee scalable, high-performing systems with strong reliability, security, and efficiency standards.
• Partner with product, design, and ML leadership to define technical solutions aligned with user and business needs.
• Own the technical roadmap, resource planning, and milestone delivery for major product launches and iterations.
• Represent engineering in executive discussions and drive cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including substantial experience managing and scaling product engineering teams.
• Strong record of developing and launching complex, high-impact web or mobile products.
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP and Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in system and software architecture for high-traffic, media-rich, or AI-powered applications.
• Strong mentorship, communication, organizational, and executive collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, creative tools, or large-scale collaboration platforms.
• Background in high-growth startups or high-ambiguity environments.
• Open-source, hackathon, or competitive coding experience.
