Senior/Staff Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and launch user-facing features for AI-powered video and multimedia tools.
• Translate creative concepts into product features with engineering, design, ML, research, and product partners.
• Architect and implement end-to-end solutions spanning backend infrastructure and frontend experiences.
• Ensure product quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability across platforms.
• Lead code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and mentor team members.
• Iterate rapidly on prototypes and experiments in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in senior engineering or product engineering roles.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and full-stack experience.
• Demonstrated ability to design and ship high-quality, scalable product features.
• Production experience with modern languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, Python, or Go.
• Strong architectural skills, product judgment, communication, and technical leadership.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto.

Nice to have

• Experience with creative tools, multimedia, generative AI, or video, image, and audio products.
• Experience building applications with ML or AI-powered features.
• Startup experience taking products or features from 0 to 1.
• Experience designing user experiences in partnership with designers.
