What you will do

• Define architecture, standards, and deliver end-to-end solutions for AI-powered platforms.
• Lead builds across Node.js services, AI agent workflows, and enterprise system integrations.
• Design secure, scalable cloud systems with multi-tenant patterns and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop APIs and services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres, including vector databases for retrieval and semantic search.
• Orchestrate agentic workflows and retrieval augmented generation.
• Ensure quality and reliability through solid engineering practices and modern release management.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript for APIs and services.
• Proficiency in cloud and systems design, building secure, scalable systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK) and observability (metrics, tracing, logs, SLOs).
• Proficiency with Postgres and experience with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Milvus).
• Familiarity with orchestrating agentic workflows and retrieval augmented generation.
• Solid engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
• On-site presence required in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• English: B2 required.
