What you will do

• Design, train, test, and iterate on diffusion models for 3D geological models.
• Develop approaches for conditioning generation on geophysical data and other physical observations.
• Inform the generation of synthetic data to improve model performance.
• Adapt diffusion modeling approaches to specific real-world projects in collaboration with project teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PyTorch, including writing custom modules and optimizing training for large-scale models.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and train complex deep learning architectures from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience in creating, cleaning, and maintaining high-quality ML datasets.
• Proficiency in software development best practices, version control, and scalable system design.
• Must be based in the US

Nice to have

• Experience with generative architectures, particularly diffusion models and posterior sampling methods.
• Experience building and training transformers for 3D data applications.
• Expertise in parallelizing models across multiple GPUs and optimizing distributed training pipelines.
• Experience managing and optimizing cloud environments for machine learning workloads.
