What you will do

• Design and ship production-grade AI agent systems for investigative workflows.
• Improve agent reliability through rigorous testing, evaluation frameworks, and observability tools.
• Build backend infrastructure that allows AI products to operate safely on large-scale data.
• Influence architecture across teams and serve as a technical multiplier for AI engineering.
• Collaborate with product and ML teams to turn agentic workflows into reusable platform components.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong backend and software engineering fundamentals with experience shipping production code at scale.
• Proven experience with LLMs, AI systems, and agentic workflows in production environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, or OpenAI SDK.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, and backend systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG systems and multi-agent architectures.
• Knowledge of AI evals and reliability testing methodologies.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, or WebSockets/WebRTC.
