Scrum Master (Agile)

TL;DR

Senior Scrum Master (Agile): Leading agile team delivery, focusing on managing initiative scope, timeline, and cost to deliver customer value. Focus on coaching teams to higher agile maturity, facilitating effective collaboration, and proactively removing impediments.

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000

What you will do

• Manage initiative scope, timeline, and cost with a focus on delivering customer value.
• Lead Release Planning, Program Increment Planning, sprints, and retrospectives, ensuring daily standups are effective.
• Coach and mentor team members in agile frameworks and SDLC processes to foster self-organization and discipline.
• Facilitate internal communication, effective collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Present regular status updates to managers, directors, and key customer stakeholders.
• Work with product owners to ensure a well-groomed, ready, and prioritized backlog and remove impediments.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Manager role.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques, patterns, and practices, including definition of ready/done, user stories, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Demonstrated experience in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
• Excellent communication, servant leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a team lead or manager.
• Knowledge of other agile and lean software development approaches.
• Scrum Master certification.
