TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (AI): Building the next wave of capabilities for Microsoft's personal AI, Copilot, with an accent on understanding user needs, defining product strategy, and driving end-to-end development. Focus on creating user-delighting experiences, leveraging AI research, and iterating quickly based on data.

Location: Redmond, United States. Employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.) of that location.

Salary: USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year (U.S. general); USD $158,400 – $258,000 per year (San Francisco Bay/NYC).

What you will do

  • Define product areas by understanding user needs, writing requirements, and supporting development, launches, and iterations.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, other PMs, and AI researchers to turn ambiguous ideas into user-delighting experiences.
  • Translate business goals into product strategy, user experience, and technical requirements.
  • Define success metrics, support experimentation, and use data to guide decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product management OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using AI tools to create products.
  • Experience building consumer products for large screens (Windows / Mac / Web).
  • Experience working with Machine Learning or Large Language Models.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
