Instructional Designer (Starlink)

Location: Onsite in Bastrop, TX. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee, or Asylee to conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).

What you will do

• Create computer-based training modules meeting marketing and legal standards.
• Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging content for various audiences and delivery modes.
• Maintain and revise existing learning products, focusing on efficiency and desired learning objectives.
• Serve as project manager for multiple product development projects, adhering to timelines and adapting to priorities.
• Manage learner needs, permissions, and skill tracking certifications within internal platforms.
• Administer the learning management system for the Starlink training team, providing technical support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing training curriculum.
• 2+ years of experience managing and utilizing learning management systems and skill tracking.
• Must be able to report to the Bastrop office.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
• Must conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with design tools like Articulate Storyline, iSpring Studio, and Camtasia Studio.
• Ability to create live video production, audio recording, and voiceover.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and experience with CSS/basic website building.
• Open collaborative style and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
