Business Analyst

Business Analyst: Supporting innovative product development for web and mobile platforms by defining product changes, translating business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Focus on collaborating with product, technical, and business teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-centric delivery.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London, UK. An initial period will be full-time in the office.

What you will do

• Perform business analysis for product proposals, user stories, and acceptance criteria for web and app development.
• Collaborate with product, technical, and business Subject Matter Experts to gather input and ensure compliance.
• Support web and mobile development teams, answer queries, test tickets, and liaise for smooth product rollouts.
• Investigate and resolve product queries, creating bug fixes as needed.
• Act as an expert for internal and external business-critical systems, engaging with third-party providers.

Requirements

• Advanced business analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams and methodologies.
• Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment and Consumer Duty rules.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (strong Excel) and workflow diagramming tools (Visio, Miro).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office in Manchester or London.

Nice to have

• Experience in an execution-only stockbroking environment.
• Experience with customer-facing web and mobile applications product development.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
