Founder-in-Residence

Location: Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate to the United States. The role follows an in-person culture at hirify.global's San Francisco headquarters.

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity and investment carry.

hirify.global is a public benefit corporation and investment platform that enables individuals to invest in pre-IPO startups.

What you will do

• Discover promising early-stage founders, including those without traditional credibility signals.
• Help founders communicate their companies clearly and prepare compelling investor pitches.
• Connect founders with potential customers, co-founders, investors, and domain experts.
• Co-design and run founder fellowships, including company selection, mentoring, weekly programming, Demo Day, and fundraising preparation.
• Provide product and design feedback based on rapid building, user conversations, and iteration.
• Help founders prioritize the most important challenges and decisions.

Requirements

• Founder experience and the ability to create something from nothing despite significant obstacles.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Empathy for founders and practical experience in the trenches of building a startup.
• Intellectual curiosity, humility, and the ability to learn across different industries.
• US citizenship or a US visa is required.
• Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
