What you will do
- Identify and own high-leverage automation initiatives that drive outsized impact for the function.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable automation workflows across IT systems using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Maximize native capabilities in third-party tools (e.g., Rippling, Google Workspace, Jira) to automate repetitive access tasks.
- Build scalable automation patterns for onboarding, offboarding, access changes, and internal requests.
- Layer AI copilots and intelligent tooling on top of existing infrastructure to reduce support load while maintaining security.
- Support hirify.global’s SOC 2 compliance posture by streamlining evidence collection and access-related controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT, automation, systems engineering, or internal tooling roles with a strong focus on reducing manual effort.
- Proven experience building automation that interacts with real systems (APIs, webhooks, SCIM/SSO, event-driven workflows).
- Strong understanding of identity and access management fundamentals (SSO/SAML, SCIM, least privilege).
- Demonstrated ability to design reusable automation patterns and infrastructure-as-code approaches.
- Experience operating in environments where security, compliance, and audit readiness are critical.
- Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguity, build cross-functional trust, and drive progress without constant direction.
