Location: This is NOT a remote position and will require you to be on-site in Herndon, Virginia.

What you will do

• Coordinate build activities in restricted regions, serving as the liaison between build engineers and commercial service teams.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment to resolve complex issues and prioritize competing demands.
• Ensure all work aligns strictly with the company’s internal compliance policies.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to resolve technical issues and customer concerns.
• Drive Problem Management by participating in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
• Identify new work opportunities and assist with technical proposals.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• A related 4-year technical degree or equivalent work experience required
• 4+ year proven experience managing a team of developers or engineers operating in a restricted environment.
• Systems engineering experience in enterprise scale internet service engineering or support role
• Mentoring/training systems engineers and systems development engineers
• Proven experience in culture setting for larger organizations.

Nice to have

• BS or higher degree preferred in Computer Science plus relevant job-related experience
• Expertise in Kubernetes based deployments and Kubernetes based development.
• Hands on experience configuring and running AWS (Amazon Web Services), using the CLI/SDKs
• Experience in Docker orchestration and management.
• Ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics driven focus, both qualitative and quantitative.
