What you will do

• Lead 3-5 Technical Leads and approximately 20 engineers.
• Drive squad delivery, quality, and AI adoption across product engineering.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in architecture discussions.
• Personally demonstrate effective use of AI tools like Claude Code for development acceleration.
• Develop leaders and manage team health and hiring.

Requirements

• Managed tech leads or engineering managers, developing leaders.
• Hands-on experience with code reviews, architecture, and technical tradeoffs.
• Personal use and demonstrable productivity gains from AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot).
• Track record of shipping on time without sacrificing quality.
• Full-stack fluency, understanding frontend and backend tradeoffs.
• Experience running cross-functional squads with Product and Design.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• GitHub activity, recent code reviews, or technical documents available.
• Experience at a growth-stage company ($50M-$500M) with transformation challenges.
• Background in e-commerce, legal tech, fintech, or compliance-heavy industries.
• Experience with CMS platforms (Statamic, Contentful), HubSpot, or Zendesk.
