What you will do

• Shape how people grow and lead teams of talented engineers.
• Raise the bar for how the team delivers, not just what is shipped.
• Work closely with Product and other partners to plan, navigate trade-offs, and tackle challenges.
• Drive change beyond formal authority by building coalitions and shaping thinking across functions.
• Bring clarity by making decisions, setting priorities, and helping teams move together.
• Improve quality and reliability using customer feedback and service data.

Requirements

• Experienced Engineering Manager who owns outcomes and is comfortable leading through uncertainty.
• Self-driven and proactive, working with minimal direction while helping others find clarity and focus.
• Able to bring strong opinions, challenge ideas, influence decisions, and learn quickly from mistakes.
• Cares deeply about people, with proven experience supporting engineers’ development, performance, and progression.
• Maintains a strong technical bar, having built, run, and improved production systems and treating quality as a first-class concern across the SDLC.
• Communicates clearly and empathetically with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders.
• Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week in the London office.
