Salary: USD $139,900 – $274,800 per year (typical U.S. range). Specific work locations in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area have a base pay range of USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year.

What you will do

• Work with Design/PM/partner teams to develop suitable UX designs.
• Build versatile rendering UX packages/libraries on various platforms.
• Utilize data processing and monitoring systems to analyze system performance.
• Drive improvements across the full ads stack based on data analysis.
• Contribute to ads UX and infrastructure for ads serving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• Must reside within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. and be expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 8+ years experience, OR Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years experience.
• Previous lead level experience.
• Previous UX design experience.
• Excellent technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
