Production Engineer

TL;DR

Production Engineer: Running, configuring, monitoring, and reporting automatic processes for the TT Map database with an accent on providing first-line support and virtual machine management. Focus on implementing production tools and analyzing performance of the production environment.

Location: Hybrid in Lodz, Poland (2 days/week in office), with options to work from your home country and abroad for a set number of days each year.

What you will do

• Configure, execute, monitor, and report automatic processes on the TT Map database.
• Create scripts and small applications.
• Provide first-line support for production.
• Monitor and analyze production environment performance and plan process execution.
• Manage virtual machines.
• Implement production tools and control their versions across all production machines.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of computer science.
• Good knowledge of Windows & Linux.
• Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, Postgres, Oracle).
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• English: B2 required for daily communication and technical documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of any programming language (C#, Java, Python).
