What you will do
- Lead strategic work across multiple workstreams, balancing big-picture thinking with execution.
- Develop and own strategic narratives for brand campaigns, messaging, and digital experiences, building multi-year marketing platform visions.
- Create strategic assets like messaging guides, audience personas, and research frameworks.
- Partner with client leadership to understand business models, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
- Identify emerging technology and AI trends, providing strategic POVs on their impact.
- Facilitate strategic workshops with cross-functional client and internal teams.
- Mentor junior strategists and manage complex client relationships as a trusted advisor.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in integrated strategy and campaign development.
- 2+ years in a senior strategic role, managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in B2B marketing strategy and enterprise marketing platforms, tools, and ecosystems.
- Breadth of knowledge across brand strategy, digital marketing, web/digital experience, and ideally performance marketing/analytics.
- Exceptional client management, facilitation, and workshop leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data-driven approach.
- Curiosity about business strategy, emerging technology trends (particularly AI), and their intersection with marketing.
- English: B2 required
- Location: Must work from the Calgary office a minimum of 3 days a week.
