What you will do
- Shape global privacy and data protection compliance, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and AI regulatory frameworks.
- Build and scale ’s privacy program, including policies, playbooks, risk frameworks, and training.
- Monitor global privacy and AI regulatory developments and counsel leadership on product implications.
- Develop and implement privacy and AI governance policies to ensure responsible deployment and ethical data usage.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years of large law firm experience.
- Strong working knowledge of global privacy regimes and data protection frameworks, with comfort advising on AI implications.
- Ability to partner closely with technical teams to understand products and translate legal requirements into guidance.
- Sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- A strong work ethic with an eye for detail and a team-player mindset.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with SaaS or AI-driven products and related privacy challenges.
- Experience advising on commercial contracts (SaaS agreements, DPAs, vendor terms).
- In-house experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Law firm experience at a top-tier, internationally recognized law firm.
