What you will do
- Own multi-channel lifecycle programs (email, push, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app) from onboarding to win-back.
- Develop segmentation frameworks and trigger-based journeys for personalized customer experiences.
- Build and operate customer journeys, data requirements, QA, and governance in Customer.io or similar platforms.
- Run experimentation programs (A/B, multivariate, holdouts) to improve conversion, retention, LTV, and ROI.
- Measure and report performance metrics like cohort retention, funnel conversion, and attribution.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Growth teams to align messaging and data quality.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Lifecycle, CRM, Retention, or Growth Marketing (fintech or financial services experience is a plus).
- Proven hands-on experience with Customer.io or comparable platforms (Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo).
- Strong analytical skills, including data segmentation, basic analysis, and understanding attribution, with familiarity in BI tools (e.g., Mixpanel, PowerBI) and spreadsheets.
- Excellent written English with strong copywriting and editorial abilities.
- Solid project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile engagement, WhatsApp Business, and deliverability best practices.
- Knowledge of experiment design and statistical interpretation.
- Familiarity with attribution tools (e.g., AppsFlyer).
- Understanding of the Nigerian consumer landscape.
