What you will do

• Take a leading role in productizing sustainability and regulatory frameworks for the SaaS product, Packa.
• Translate complex regulatory and legal texts (e.g., PPWR, EPR, PCF) into clear product requirements and decision trees.
• Work closely with tech teams during implementation, providing context and testing developed systems.
• Conduct deep-dive research on packaging sustainability topics and convert insights into actionable product specifications.
• Act as the domain expert for ESG, sustainability, and regulatory topics for internal teams and customers.
• Define and maintain test data, validation logics, and edge cases for sustainability-related product features.

Requirements

• Experience in a research-heavy, analytical environment dealing with complex information (e.g., ESG, sustainability, regulatory).
• Proficiency in structuring complex topics and translating them into logical, implementable systems.
• Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven topics, understanding legislation's operational requirements.
• High attention to detail combined with the ability to grasp the bigger picture and take ownership.
• Motivation to build scalable ESG software rather than reports.
• Proven collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Very good German skills required and fluent in English required.
