TL;DR

Business Analyst (Payments): Support customers and users in analyzing and defining business needs and requirements, designing end-to-end payment solutions with an accent on process mapping, requirement engineering, and cross-application consistency. Focus on coordinating with product owners, supporting development and DevOps teams, and ensuring alignment with product evolution strategy.

Location: Hybrid work within Germany, based in Aachen

What you will do

  • Support customers and users in defining business needs and requirements, maintaining updated specifications.
  • Ensure integrity and consistency of end-to-end solutions across applications and services.
  • Design and document business and IT requirements aligned with product evolution strategy.
  • Manage project assignments and coordinate technical alignments within and across squads.
  • Support DevOps team in problem analysis and assist junior business engineers.
  • Maintain up-to-date product documentation and communicate detailed requirements to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must have 6+ years experience in IT Business Analysis or requirement engineering.
  • Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in process mapping (BPMN), modelling (UML), and requirements gathering.
  • Experience in payments or fraud detection domain is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
