What you will do

• Own and lead a high-performing engineering team, focusing on career development and wellbeing.
• Partner with Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers to define and execute hirify.global’s observability strategy.
• Translate high-level goals into clear roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Own the reliability, availability, and performance of hirify.global’s observability platforms.
• Drive modernization of the observability stack.
• Ensure observability capabilities translate into intuitive developer experiences.

Requirements

• Held a technical leadership role with team management experience.
• Experience building, operating, or supporting large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS ideally).
• Strong foundations in computer engineering and systems thinking.
• Deep care about reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Clear communication skills to align teams through documentation and discussion.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, Mimir, ClickHouse, or similar.
• Experience coding in Go.
