Location: Remote positions open to the US only

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000

What you will do

• Design and refine governance frameworks, policies, and best practices; lead complex governance initiatives across multiple domains.
• Influence and align senior stakeholders across departments; navigate competing priorities and drive consensus on governance decisions.
• Resolve complex data management challenges, optimize governance processes, and implement sophisticated quality and compliance controls.
• Mentor governance team members, build governance capabilities, and establish communities of practice across the organization.
• Translate hirify.global's strategic goals into operational governance plans.
• Establish data quality management programs, including quality monitoring frameworks, remediation workflows, and metrics to measure program effectiveness.

Requirements

• BS or equivalent plus 8 years in data governance program, or MS or equivalent plus 5 years in data management and governance, or Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years in data management and governance.
• 5 years leading data governance program or initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence across C-suite to individual contributors.
• Expertise in data quality frameworks, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Proficiency in SQL for data profiling and quality validation.

Nice to have

• SaaS company experience.
• Experience in regulated industries or compliance environments.
• CDMP, DGSP, CIPP/CIPM Certifications.
• Python or R for data analysis.
