Strategy Lead

TL;DR
Strategy Lead (Marketing): Driving strategic thinking and comms strategy development for client briefs with an accent on identifying audiences, growth opportunities, and building the cultural context. Focus on challenging conventional thinking, running workshops, and collaborating with various agencies to bring strategies to life.
Location: Must have the right to work in the UK. Hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week.

What you will do
- Own comms strategy development for client briefs, including audience identification, growth opportunities, and cultural context building.
- Challenge conventional thinking to ensure the right business problem is being addressed.
- Lead workshops, brainstorms, and collaborate with creative and PR agencies to bring strategies to life.
- Develop comms strategy for pitch briefs, building audience understanding and bespoke research.
- Write thought leadership for the agency, attend conferences, and network within the industry.
- Coach and mentor junior agency members to optimize responses to briefs and planning processes.
Requirements
- Storytelling & persuasion skills to develop compelling narratives and sell in strategies.
- Knowledge of marketing and media industry theory and thinking.
- Creativity to bring new combinations of data, insight, and media formats together.
- Critical thinking for objective analysis and evaluation of business and media challenges.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
