What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure and tools to support over 1 billion monthly requests, ensuring performance, availability, and resilience.
• Enable engineering teams to manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and technical leadership to improve reliability, system performance, and deployment velocity.
• Continuously monitor, test, and improve systems to meet fast-growing operational demands, with a focus on automation and observability.
• Contribute to infrastructure design decisions and build reusable, modular infrastructure components using Terraform.
• Actively share knowledge, improve engineering practices, and elevate the team’s engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE in high-scale production environments.
• Proven expertise in cloud-based systems (ideally GCP) and confidence in scaling infrastructure for high-traffic services.
• Past experience breaking and fixing Terraform state files without impacting operations.
• Ability to write code (Go and/or Typescript preferred) but mostly read and quickly comprehend different codebases.
• A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a strong interest in sharing expertise and mentoring peers.
• Desire to thrive in environments that balance high technical standards with pragmatic decision-making.

• Kubernetes expertise, including running, securing, scaling, and debugging workloads in real-world scenarios.
• Deep knowledge in system performance and resilience engineering.
• Experience seeing Terraform evolve over time, managing organically grown, actively changing stacks.
