What you will do

• Design and operate a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform using Cluster API (CAPI) and vCluster for tenant isolation.
• Manage VM orchestration with KubeVirt, including CPU pinning, NUMA awareness, and HugePages configuration.
• Optimize Ceph distributed storage clusters and implement Rook-Ceph operators at scale.
• Deploy overlay networks, Cluster Mesh, and manage physical Juniper networking infrastructure (BGP, EVPN/VXLAN).
• Apply SRE disciplines by maintaining SLOs, capacity forecasting, and executing chaos engineering experiments.
• Automate bare-metal provisioning and fleet management using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.

Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with 3+ years managing production Kubernetes platforms.
• Production experience with at least 3 of: KubeVirt, Cluster API, Cilium/Calico, Rook-Ceph, or ArgoCD/Flux.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel tuning, networking stack, and performance troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with Ceph storage operations, OSD lifecycle, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, and bare-metal hardware (IPMI, PXE boot, RAID).
• English: B2+ proficiency required for documentation and cross-team communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crossplane, Kyverno, or OPA Gatekeeper for Policy-as-Code.
• Knowledge of container security tools (Falco, Sigstore) and Immutable OS (Talos, Flatcar).
• Experience migrating from traditional virtualization (VMware, OpenNebula) to KubeVirt.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for creating infrastructure tooling.
• Experience with Juniper JunOS switch configuration and Grafana LGTM stack.
