Service Leavers Pathway

Location: Leeds or Birmingham, United Kingdom; office attendance three days per week is mandatory during the six-month probation period. UK-based travel for projects is required. Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to attain UK Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Deliver infrastructure projects for clients across multiple sectors.
• Attend dedicated Service Leavers Pathway tuition, certification activities, and regular feedback sessions.
• Explore different areas of the business and align with an IT practice.
• Work individually and as part of a team while adopting hirify.global’s ways of working and culture.
• Continue personal development in relation to hirify.global projects and platforms.
• Support the Service Leavers Programme and wider Armed Forces community with IT and business development.

Requirements

• At least two years of military service and active participation in the transition process at the time of application.
• Strong planning skills and strong influencing and communication skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable desire to learn new digital skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• SC Clearance held or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
• Understanding of common IT delivery frameworks and methodologies.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
• Willingness to undertake UK-based travel for projects.

Nice to have

• At least one IT-related certification, such as PRINCE2, ITIL, Microsoft Foundation certifications, AWS certifications, or the APM Project Management Practitioner Qualification.
