Salary: $260,000 - $320,000 USD base salary

What you will do

• Lead a strategic organization composed of multiple engineering teams and managers, ensuring clear impact on hirify.global's success.
• Own the success of the Wallets department, driving achievement of departmental and company OKRs.
• Be accountable for the overall technical integrity, security posture, and operational health of the core wallet platform.
• Ensure the organization is resilient, responsive, and able to quickly address changing business conditions or critical production issues.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across engineering, product, security, and compliance to align the wallet platform roadmap.
• Define and communicate a multi-year technical vision and strategy for the Wallets organization aligned with hirify.global's growth plans.

Requirements

• Must work full-time onsite in San Francisco, California.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time spent on platform, security, or financial systems.
• 4+ years of experience successfully leading geographically distributed teams of 4+ engineers.
• Strong experience building systems where correctness and security are paramount (financial services, payments, identity, or similar domains).
• Experience with cryptographic systems, key management, or HSM integration (direct hands-on experience preferred, strong conceptual understanding required).
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain technologies, digital asset custody, or cryptocurrency systems.
• Familiarity with multi-party computation (MPC), threshold signatures, or multi-signature schemes.
• Experience working in regulated financial environments with compliance and audit requirements.
• Background in building platforms serving enterprise or institutional clients.
