Salary: $218,025—$256,500 USD

• Develop and execute the multi-year strategy for Payments Risk engineering in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Mentor and guide team members to make meaningful contributions while fostering their professional growth.
• Provide technical leadership by supporting your team in making sound architectural decisions and ensuring engineering quality.
• Partner with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate the vision into actionable quarterly roadmaps.
• Recruit and hire exceptional engineers to enhance hirify.global's culture and product offerings.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment aligned with hirify.global's culture.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in Risk, ML and/or Payments domain
• You possess a strong understanding of what constitutes high-quality code and effective software engineering processes.
• An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
• Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.

Nice to have

• You’ve built financial, high reliability or security systems.
• You’ve some exposure to online fraud prevention systems or built them in the past.
