What you will do
- Lead technology strategy and platform development for Cboe Clear US.
- Build and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
- Drive innovation in mission-critical clearing technology, including digital assets and derivatives.
- Define and implement global clearing technology strategy with Cboe Clear Europe.
- Lead development support for critical incident response and ensure secure platform operations.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies like Tokenization, AI/ML.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of proven expertise and leadership in global markets clearing or operations technology.
- Ability to grow and build high-performance technology teams.
- Detailed understanding of clearing concepts (settlement, margin, collateral management, risk management).
- Highly technical software engineering background, comfortable reviewing code (Python, Java, SQL).
- Experience building highly resilient systems, preferably in the cloud, and managing teams with cloud-first technology (GitOps, DevOps).

- Track record of implementing innovative technical solutions (Tokenization is preferred).
