What you will do

• Define and enforce standards for AI model development, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
• Develop a robust AI governance framework addressing algorithmic bias, transparency, and compliance with emerging regulations.
• Oversee governance of training datasets, ensuring high-quality lineage and labeling standards.
• Proactively audit model performance, bias detection, and AI governance maturity, providing actionable insights.
• Design and implement training programs to advance AI ethics and responsible innovation across the organization.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Law & Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI/ML governance or AI risk management.
• Experience with AI governance and observability platforms.
• Proven track record in developing AI governance practices, including Model Cards and Algorithmic Impact Assessments.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between AI researchers and Legal/Compliance teams.
• Track record of identifying and mitigating risks, specifically regarding LLM security and data privacy in AI training.
• Understanding of cloud-native AI stacks (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, or Google Vertex AI).

Nice to have

• Experience in travel, transportation, or enterprise technology sectors.
• Deep understanding of the Generative AI lifecycle, including fine-tuning governance and vector database management.
• Professional certifications such as CIPP/AI or similar.
• Travel industry experience beneficial.
