What you will do

• Define and lead AI governance strategy, policy management, and compliance automation across the AI lifecycle.
• Develop ethical and regulatory frameworks addressing algorithmic bias, transparency, and global AI regulations.
• Oversee governance of AI training datasets ensuring quality and fairness.
• Monitor AI model performance, bias, and risks, providing actionable insights to mitigate issues.
• Design and implement AI literacy and ethics training programs organization-wide.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Manchester or London, United Kingdom
• At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML governance or AI risk management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native AI stacks (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI).
• Experience in risk management for AI systems including data privacy and security risks.
• Excellent communication skills bridging technical and legal teams.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Law & Technology.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel, transportation, or enterprise technology sectors.
• Familiarity with generative AI lifecycle, RLHF, and vector database management.
• Professional certifications like CIPP/AI.
