What you will do
- Act as a generalist covering Corporate topics (M&A, subsidiaries), Product & Contracts (SaaS agreements, IP/IT licensing), and Regulatory & Compliance (ISMS, Data Privacy).
- Help build the "House of Legal" by implementing AI-powered LegalTech tools to streamline processes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives while mitigating risk.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-Level, Sales, and Product teams.
- Work closely with the Compliance team on IT security and regulatory topics to ensure a unified governance strategy.
Requirements
- Education: A Juris Doctor (JD) or Mag. iur. from an accredited Austrian or German university.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience (Mid-Level), ideally a mix of Law Firm training and In-House (startup/scaleup) experience.
- Be excited about the transformation of the legal industry and familiar with LegalTech tools and the European AI Act.
- Possess a strong background in European SaaS legal frameworks, contract law, and intellectual property.
- Understand the technical complexity behind APIs and digital products.
- Be solution-oriented and view Legal as an enabler of growth.
