Local Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Implement and maintain the local information security strategy aligned with hirify.global HQ.
• Act as the primary security expert and point of contact for local teams and leadership.
• Identify and assess security assets and risks in line with HQ standards, including third-party suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 27000 series, ISO 22301, NIST 800-53 & CSF) and perform NIS2 cybersecurity manager duties.
• Perform risk assessments, BIA/BCP/DRP creation and testing, and security awareness activities.
• Coordinate security and business continuity incidents and manage access including exception approvals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information security, or 2+ years in security management.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 2700, NIST SP 800-53, and NIST CSF.
• Understanding of NIS2 laws and regulations related to information security.
• Deep insight into threats, attacks, vulnerabilities, and IT/physical security principles.
• Solid risk management and business continuity expertise.
• English: C1 required.
• Czech/Slovak: C1 required.

Nice to have

• German language skills (advantage).
• Preferred certifications: CISM, CISSP, CRISC, GISP/GSOM/GSLC/GSTRT, SCISO.
