What you will do
- Design, build, and ship automated tests as part of a cross-functional product team.
- Collaborate with mentors and teammates to break down ambiguous problems into clear, executable projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in TypeScript, participating in code reviews.
- Learn how to scale and maintain a reliable test suite that enables quality and velocity.
- Build tooling and expand automation frameworks to enable efficiencies in product teams.
- Partner with product and design to understand user needs and iterate on solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date after the internship term.
- Foundational knowledge in computer science and software engineering, including data structures, algorithms, and basic systems or web concepts.
- Comfortable programming in JavaScript/TypeScript and interested in learning the company's stack on the job.
- Demonstrated experience through projects, internships, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action.
- Clear, kind communicator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, Java, Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
