What you will do

• Lead comprehensive QA activities including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Define and implement robust test strategies and automation frameworks.
• Drive root cause analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Mentor QA engineers and enforce best testing practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of overall QA experience with a strong focus on functional and automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience leading QA efforts.
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber) and REST API automation (RestAssured, Postman).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Octane).
• Extensive experience testing IVR applications within the telecommunications/contact center domain, including familiarity with speech and DTMF systems, CTI, and Cyara.
• Must work 100% onsite in Charlotte, NC, United States. Basic relocation is available.

Nice to have

• Exposure to self-healing test automation or AI-driven QA approaches.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Understanding of DevOps / QAOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
