Senior Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/MongoDB): Lead the development of new features and improvements for hirify.global’s Student and Tutor experience with an accent on optimizing performance and ensuring a smooth, high-quality teaching & learning experience. Focus on building tutor discovery experience and creating classroom experiences tailored to the learner's needs.

Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Conceive, design, build, and launch new user-facing features.
• Lead development of new features and improvements for hirify.global’s Student and Tutor experience.
• Optimize performance and ensure a smooth, high-quality teaching & learning experience.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build product experiences that help students find the perfect tutor, create a learning plan, and build their English Fluency.
• Maintain a high code quality product through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with React.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience building and maintaining production systems using tools like Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic, etc.
• Good understanding of frontend technologies, patterns, and best practices.
• Good understanding of backend systems, patterns, and best practices.
