What you will do
- Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for regional people leaders.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people leaders.
- Ensure our culture and values are lived throughout our teams; work closely with leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide guidance across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning and development, inclusion and belonging, compensation and benefits, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Resolve complex team member relations issues through thorough, compliant, and objective investigations.
- Act as the ‘voice of the Americas’ on the P&C Leadership Team; provide regional insights that influence global strategy and ensure global programs are successfully localized for our Americas teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Resource, Psychology, Business or a combination of relevant professional experience with a minimum 7 years in HR preferable, with 3+ years as a Business Partner.
- Experience in the technology industry, SaaS preferred.
- Solid functional grasp of employment laws across US and Canada.
- Experience in navigating organizational ‘gray areas’ with high EQ and a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, cultural sensitivity and resourcefulness.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and regions.
Nice to have
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
