What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a fullstack engineering team building DAW plugins and desktop applications for music creators.
• Demonstrate a product and user-centric mindset in engineering and product development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster ownership, collaboration, and initiative within the team.
• Guide your team in adopting AI tools to accelerate the software development process.
• Define clear team outcomes and establish efficient processes to achieve them.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and early-career managers, supporting their technical and professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in technical leadership within a cross-functional and distributed team environment.
• Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and a user-centric mindset.
• Experience implementing agile methodologies (Kanban and/or Lean).
• Proficient in technical project management and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated expertise in guiding senior engineers and mentoring early-career engineers.

Nice to have

• Technical competency in C++, DAW plugins, and digital signal processing (DSP).
• Experience delivering desktop experiences built using web-based front-end technologies.
• Experience working on AI/ML-powered products.
• Experience playing an instrument, singing, or using music creation software.
