What you will do
- Manage and mentor a team of full-stack developers in a fast-paced environment.
- Set strategy, build roadmaps, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver.
- Collaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science, and Engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and provide strong technical mentorship.
- Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent practical work experience.
- 8+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience (or Master’s degree + 7+ years, or PhD + 3+ years).
- 1+ years of experience managing a team.
- Experience with distributed systems and web development.
- Background in building high availability and mission-critical systems.
- Ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with driving large scale initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with Ops-heavy systems/products.
