TL;DR

Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer (AI): Partnering with recruiters and hiring teams to build diverse talent pipelines and execute sourcing strategies for a legal AI technology company with an accent on proactive candidate engagement and market research. Focus on leveraging a variety of sourcing techniques and data-informed strategies to ensure alignment with role requirements and company culture.

Location: Hybrid (Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto, Canada). Expectation to be in office a minimum of twice per week.

What you will do

  • Champion hirify.global’s human and high-performing culture throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Partner with Recruiters and hiring teams to build and execute scalable sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates using a variety of techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, referrals, events, and creative outreach).
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and nurture passive candidates through consistent touchpoint strategies.
  • Conduct market and talent research (availability, compensation trends, competitor mapping) and adapt sourcing strategies.
  • Screen and assess sourced candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements before recruiter handoff.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, ideally in a high-growth, high-velocity environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing talent pipelines for multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing skills across a range of channels, including outbound search, inbound applicants, referrals, and events.
  • Experience engaging passive talent—from initial outreach through relationship-building and handoff to recruiters.
  • A data-informed mindset, with the ability to track activity, analyze results, and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • A collaborative, consultative approach and strong partnership skills.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, with interest in continuously improving your sourcing craft, including experimenting with AI tools and new technologies.
  • Must be based in or be able to work hybrid from Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.

  • Experience using Workday ATS and Gem.
