Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (2 days a week in the office). Relocation support available to Berlin.

What you will do

• Lead a team of data and machine learning engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain robust MLOps architecture, ensuring efficient ML lifecycle.
• Own the execution and development of functionalities in small iterations.
• Manage stakeholders across Logistics and drive project and tech strategy.
• Partner with product counterparts to provide technical direction.
• Own and ensure visibility, tracking, and alerting for team's tech metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid from Berlin, Germany.
• English: B2 required.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Cloud proficiency (GCP/AWS or equivalent) and knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage projects and dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Programming language agnostic with a clear understanding of core concepts.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with A/B testing.
• Ability to be hands-on to support junior developers.
• Experience with data science projects.
• Extensive experience in data, ML engineering, or MLOps.
