TL;DR

Engineering Manager (AI): Leading, growing, and inspiring engineering teams to build and optimize an AI-first property management platform with an accent on people leadership, predictable delivery, and strategic technical excellence. Focus on refining an AI-driven development pipeline, improving engineering KPIs, and fostering a blameless incident culture.

Location: Remote within Germany or Hybrid in Munich (Deutschland Ticket provided for travel within Germany).

What you will do

Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
Own predictable, high-quality delivery at a sustainable pace.
Collaborate on roadmap and long-term technical strategy with Product, Design, and Tech Leads.
Ensure strong engineering standards, operational readiness, and a blameless incident culture.
Develop and refine an AI-driven development pipeline.
Lead hiring, onboarding, team composition, and long-term talent development.

Requirements

Several years of experience in engineering leadership.
Strong technical foundation with backend experience (C#/.NET) and cloud knowledge (AWS or Azure).
Experience with distributed systems, DevOps practices, and modern infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Docker).
Pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for healthy teams and long-term quality.
Passion and experience in AI-driven SDLC.
Work authorization for Germany is required.

Nice to have

Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka).
