What you will do

• Action day-to-day alerts and queues related to fraud prevention, investigations, and dispute processing.
• Monitor and analyze various types of information to make strong decisions on case investigations.
• Assess risk levels and make approval recommendations for onboarding documents and payment processing limits.
• Build trust with customers and internal teams through excellent customer experience and fraud education.
• Provide feedback and assist with implementing improvements to current risk programs.
• Stay informed of fraud trends and relevant regulations to maintain an exceptional risk program.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of fraud detection and risk management systems and tools.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in the payments industry, with a focus on underwriting, transaction monitoring, and/or fraud, dispute, and risk management.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau or Sigma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google, especially Excel/Sheets.
• Familiarity with merchant processing platforms and applications.
• Experience with the use of automation and/or AI tooling.
• Ability to read and understand credit card processing statements.
• Knowledge of card brands (Visa, Mastercard) rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and research capabilities.
• Must be based in the USA.
