Specialty Solutions Engineer (Cloud): Designing and architecting complex cloud solutions, primarily focused on AWS infrastructure for enterprise digital transformation, with an accent on technical sales support, solution development, and thought leadership. Focus on integrating multi-vendor solutions, evaluating new technologies, and providing architectural recommendations to meet customer technical and business requirements.

Location: Hybrid, must be in CST or EST time zones in the USA. Possible locations include Atlanta, Boston, New York, Richmond, Chicago, Nashville, Memphis, or Detroit.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 a year (OTE)

What you will do

• Participate actively in hirify.global SSE and service delivery teams.
• Act as a thought leader for clients, responsible for designing and architecting technical solutions.
• Support sales teams by providing advice, solutions, or proposals optimized to meet customer technical and business requirements.
• Develop relationships with other Observability SSE team members, leaders, and partners in support of sales objectives.
• Qualify sales opportunities and execute technical sales calls.
• Present and market the design and value of proposed hirify.global solutions and business justification to customers, prospects, and management.
• Participate in the mentorship of entry-level team members.

Requirements

• Expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge in Azure & GCP cloud environments.
• Expertise as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution development.
• Enterprise experience with Cloud Infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
• Experience in architecture leadership that integrates solutions across multiple vendors.
• Ability to evaluate new technologies and provide internal training.
• Ability to understand customer needs, define requirements, and design solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience with Visio and PowerPoint.
